Not really impressive. Andy Griffith shouldn't even air on Sundays because they repeat pretty much the SAME episodes at almost the same times that they aired on Saturday. No other show to my knowledge is done that way.
I can't believe I'm saying it, but I almost hope they don't renew Good Times. Maybe the void left on the schedule from it will prompt them to bring Hogan's or Beaver back which haven't gotten as much airplay in recent years. Is Nanny still slated for August? I forgot about that....if so, slide Raymond to 8-10pm, Nanny 10-11pm, and Roseanne 11pm-12am. |

I love Good Times and would like to see it get renewed to continued to be exposed to audiences. However, anyone who gets TV One knows that the episodes are uncut on there...so I for one don't really watch it on TV Land.
If Good Times goes...it would be cool to see 9am- Leave it to Beaver 10am- Hogan's Heroes 11am- The Beverly Hillbillies and just leave AITF & S/S for evenings But I have a feeling they will add another hour of westerns before they do that. I'm not sure why they even renewed Beaver a year ago? I think maybe so they could have it for their online full episodes section. The 2nd classic is slated for September, I believe, which may shake things up a bit. It's more than obvious that it is "I Dream of Jeannie" so it will more than likely be paired with "Bewitched". |

Wow, Tv land really is sucking again. They're back to their greedy ways. They might've gotten rid of an hour of infomercials, but running shows off the clock again? Please. No other channel does this. It's owned by Viacom, they especially don't need to do extra commercials or anything. How are people supposed to tape or watch these shows? How do they expect anyone to watch when they do that? And there's still some infomercials where some classic shows should be and always used to be.
And WAY too heavy on movies and westerns. Too many originals too. I guess the westerns get good ratings, but they shouldn't be aired so disproportionately much because of that. They've forgotten that they're supposed to be about tv, not movies. Because of that, fans of other shows suffer, especially if they're only aired late at night. I'll still give Hot In Cleveland a try, but I'm mostly watching other channels these days and I'm rapidly losing hope in this channel. If I like a show and it's on another channel as well, I'll usually watch or tape the other channel. It's so badly run these days with so many bad programming decisions. Amazing it's not off the air yet. |

Yeah...I'd really rather see them ADD an extra hour of Paid Programming than do the whole off the clock crap.
Ever since PRIME launched in late 08, I've been trying to enjoy all the classics I like on there...because it is only a matter of time. |

It just seemed as if this network was going in an upward swing with all of these additions like ELR, HI, Nanny. But Home Improvement is unfortunately a bust
and now off the clock again!!!??? That's possibly the most annoying thing. How can they find it useful? OMG....

I'm afraid, gang, the good old days of TVLand are gone. And why did they do this "off-the-clock"bit again. They did it before and it didn't work. And why in the world did they squish the end credits ( I know, they all do it,but not like TVLand)and severely edit their series?

It looks like Good Times isn't being renewed. Checked the Schedule page for 7/1/10 on tvland.com and there is a change and no Good Times in sight...however further exploring shows that this change starts next Monday (6/14)
Tuesdays - Fridays: 9:30am- Sanford and Son (replaces Good Times) 10:00am- Sanford and Son (replaces Good Times) 10:30am- Gunsmoke (replaces Sanford and Son x2) Weekdays: 12pm- Bonanza (replaces Gunsmoke) 1pm- Bonanza 2pm - 5pm- The Andy Griffith Show (replaces Bonanza x3) (the week of 6/28 shows the morning schedule on the clock with a 2nd All in the Family at 9 and Sanford and Son at 10am/10:30am....but that will likely change). So the last airing for Good Times is probably this Friday at 9:30am/10am (approx times). |

I was hoping that the departure of Good Times would force them to bring one of the benched shows back. Looks like I was wrong. There is no point in airing AiTF and S&S in the mornings. They really should do this (remove off-the-clock): 8:00AM-9:00AM Leave It to Beaver 9:00AM-10:00AM Hogan's Heroes 10:00AM-11:00AM The Beverly Hillbillies 11:00AM Gunsmoke |

Tvland's so boring. I don't care about Good Times, but they might as well just call it the Andy Friffith/Gunsmoke/Bonanza channel already. I have no idea why those shows are still such hits. They play them way too much.
