do you think this reunion movie will ever come to DVD?
For those who never saw it: Gloria Unger was played this time by Barbera Barrie (Barney Millers wife, Liz) Felix & Oscars apartment was different (it was similar to the one in the movie) and they explained Jack Klugmans raspy voice by writing that Oscar had throat sugery. (which Jack Klugman had-in fact, I remember seeing an interview with him talking about that movie, and he didn't want to do it for that reason. But Tony talked him into it. They were talking on the phone and Jack was saying "No Tony; I don't want to do it! The audience won't understand me"! And Tony said "Oh, c'mon Jack, it'll be fun. And audiences won't mind your voice"!) |

I'd like to see this reunion movie on DVD. Maybe if they do a complete series DVD release they would include it as an extra.

The fact that this movie happened shows just how classic of a show "The Odd Couple" was- after all, not many low-rated series have a movie sequel 18 years after it goes off the air.
![]() While it was not as good as the series, I liked the movie- Penny Marshall should have had a larger role, though. |

Being on an "Odd Couple" kick, I got out the old VHS tape and watched this for the first time in a while. It's not bad- and, actually, Penny Marshall's number of scenes was sufficient.

I always hated the fact that they keep changing the origins of how Oscar met Felix? The army or as children or on Jury Duty (with seinfeld's father)...
