I guess I'm in the minority regarding Ann's hair - but I hate the mushroom/bowl cut look in general.

It looked good long in the 70s and shorter in the 80s. Although she could have done more with it. It pretty much looked the same as those pictures for all 9 long seasons.

I agree with you! The "Dorothy Hammill 'do" was not flattering with her face shape. She looked like a ginormous flapping mouth coming right at you!

I was just thinking that when I was watching tonight. The longer hair was so cute. Better than the real short, conservative hair later on! The longer hair wasn't really long, but a cute style and very full and looked cute on her, made her look younger.

I guess they had her have the harsh short cut later on to make her look more business women and sophisticated!
