Arrow Diary/Journal

Do anyone of you keep either a journal or diary?

I keep a journal. I think its a really good think to keep and I think everyone should start one. Its fun looking back and seeing what you thought on a certain or exactly a year ago. I need to write in mine more often though.

Cool used to keep a journal

I couldn't keep it up though...always forgetful to put in new entries. Now I just write when I feel like it...which ends up on odd pages...of odd journal type books.

I used to.. but I gave up when my mother found it. I got grounded because I had some.. erm..pretty bad stuff in it. Let me put it that way. Although it was my fault for not locking it.. but then again my mother is an -ahem- and invades my privacy...

That sucks. You should've told your mother to naff off - she has no right to ground you cos she shouldn't have been reading your diary in the first place. I used to keep a diary but now I don't cos my parents are nosey - ahem's - too!

Same here. Last October or November. At the time, I was going through depression, and my dad searched my freakin' room and read my freakin' diary. It only had a few entries, but they weren't happy thoughts. THEN he had the nerve to accuse me of cussing in it. Well, I read it over afterward. I didn't use one cuss word. I didn't even say damn or hell.... I have never forgiven him for that. And, needless to say, I don't keep a journal anymore.

Yeah, I kept a diary when I was younger. Mom found it and read through it. Now I keep a secret diary. I only write in it when they aren't around. Kind of sad we can't have any privacy at all....

Hide it under a rock. Thats the last place they will look.
And you know, they only search for it because they love you. They want to make sure you aren't getting yourself into trouble.
Still, it is privacy we're talking about... I know I won't butt into my childrens lives that way. There are other, less hurtfull ways of finding out what they are up to.
But hey, don't be so hard on your parents for caring about you! It may be better if you were to tell them not to read your diary and suggest alternatives. Oh well.

I have a diary but I never write in it.

lol......I don't know too many people that have rocks in their rooms...but ok. If you have a painting hanging in ur room, or a picture frame type thing, there is always this brown paper bag type stuff on the back, and if you open it just @ the top, you can hide ur journal behind the picture.
