I heard this morning that the greatest concert double-bill is about to take place this summer, at the White River Ampitheater in Auburn in August!!!!!!
Better than Maiden!!! More powerful than the American Carnage Tour with Slayer, Megadeth, and Testament!!!!! More highly anticipated than the Rush summer tour!!!! It could only be--

LIMP BIZKIT AT THE WHITE RIVER AMPITHEATER!!!!!!

Announced on the radio commercial as the band who's coming back to GIVE ROCK & ROLL A SERIOUSLY NEEDED KICK IN THE ASS!!!!!!

And who is the metal powerhouse that is going to open the show??? Wait for it, wait for it--

ICE CUBE!!!!!!!!

Yes, one of rap's biggest stars and the lead role in "Are We There Yet" is going to help give rock and roll the kick in the ass that it seriously needs!!!!!

There has never been a more rock and metal double-bill!!!!

Apparently, Ice Cube is going to be spared melting this August: The summer tour with Limp Bizkit might not happen till later. Seems like Fred Durst has cancelled the tour, because he doesn't want to play outdoor ampitheaters this summer, because a lot of them don't have places where fans can have a pit and jump around and get all stupid. So he's saving the dates for indoor shows.

I'm just devastated.

Of course, I'm sure everyone detects my hint of irony in this bit of news.

Limp Bizkit is, after all, one of these bands who is still stuck in 2002.

Thanks, but I think I can miss this "greatest musical event" and still live a fulfilling life!! I would have no regrets whatsoever.
