Hi Guys,
I know that I'm only 4 years late...but I just now got around to opening up Season 3 of the MTM Show. I am missing Disc 1 in my set, I have two copies of Disc 2. Has anyone had this problem before? I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how I could get this corrected. I am not certain if I have my receipt any longer, and there is a Target sticker on my box stating that returns should be made within 90 days. So I guess 20th Century Fox would have to help?? Help?? |

Ha ha...I'm not making fun of you, Josh, but that IS pretty hilarious.
I think 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment would be your best bet, but they'd probably be under no obligation to replace it since you let so much time slip by. If they ever came out with a Mary Tyler Moore boxed set, I would gladly send you my copy from the single-season release. But since they're still dragging their feet on issuing Season 7, a boxed set may be a while off. |

What happened to you, happened to me with a classic Doctor Who audio CD for the soundtrack to a missing William GHartnell story,"Marco Polo".
The BBC wiped a lot of programmes in the 60s and 70s. I took it back to HMV,they looked at me oddly but replaced it,maybe its a good idea when you buy a DVD now,to check the DVDs even if you're not gonna watch them, right away. Try writing to 20th Century Fox anyway, you never know. |

Universal has replaced many of my messed up dvd sets like this. One of the dvd sets was supposed to have three dvds and it only had 2 holders. It took 8 weeks though. What I do now is check my dvd sets before I even leave the store parking lot. Hey-you never know because I have had this type of thing happen alot to me. So it is not a bad idea. Most stores will replace it for a good set.

Thanks folks for the comments. I sent 20th Century Fox an e-mail last week, but haven't heard anything back. I will see if I can locate a phone number and give them a call. Unfortunately it doesn't look like many stores are still carrying the 3rd season any longer.
Oh, and believe me....I have since opened up every DVD set that I own to make sure I don't have any other duplicate discs. |
