Ace Frehley Planning A 'KISS' Tell-All Memoir - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley is planning to lift the lid on his time in the band in a new book - the rocker has confirmed he's working on his memoirs.

The axeman is one of the original members of the rock group, joining them in 1972. He quit in 1982, but rejoined in 1996 for a reunion which lasted until 2002. Frehley has since been recording as a solo artist, and in between working on his music he has been writing a book about his life - including wild stories from Kiss' heyday.

The star admits his recollections from the time are fairly hazy so he has recruited a string of pals to help him remember what actually happened.

He tells the Artisan News Service, "It's gonna be memoirs, you know. I just turned 59, (so) I think it's about time I start getting the stuff out and writing it down on paper before I forget it. It's hard for me to remember a lot of the stuff, so what I've been doing is getting together with people I used to work with, and they usually have better memories of situations than myself. Getting together with old bodyguards... They have the best stories about me... stuff I don't remember."

Wow! A guy with no memory writing a memoir! I suppose that will make this book a work of fiction!
