End of "Family Ties"

Because of how long it has been since anyone other than me has posted here, I am willing to try anything! A while back, I posted a message here called "Too Close For Comfort". Although this was not the main point of this post, I mentioned the brief period in which that show ran opposide "Gimme a Break!" Back when that show was on Tuesday Night after "Three's Company", I would watch it to finish out the two-hour period. However, it was nowhere near being worth giving up "Gimme a Break!" for! In any event, that post now has twenty-one views and zero replies. I have decided to post a new thread to commemorate this event. Twenty-one years ago, "Family Ties" left that air. Is anyone here a fan of this show? I thought that some of you might be since it catered to the same Generation X crowd as "Gimme a Break!". It was a pretty decent show in my opinion. I remember a brief period in which is was shown right after "Gimme a Break!" Do any of you remember watching it to finish out the hour?
