Production to begin on 'Hot in Cleveland' - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

NEW YORK, May 6 (UPI) -- Production is set to begin on the new U.S. sitcom "Hot in Cleveland," which is to premiere next month, TV Land said Friday.

Starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White, TV Land's first original sitcom is to go into production Monday.

The 10-episode series is to premiere June 16 on TV Land.

The show is described as being about "three fabulous best friends from Los Angeles -- novelist Melanie Moretti, eye-brow archer to the stars Joy Scroggs and former soap star Victoria Chase -- who find their lives changed forever when their plane, headed for Paris, makes an unexpected landing. When the friends discover that they are hot in Cleveland, they decide to stay. Starting over, they rent a house that happens to come with a very feisty caretaker."

I've seen the promos for this and am very interested. Can't go wrong with these actresses... and Betty White still goin' strong in her late 80's.

I don't watch many current shows, just because I don't think they're that good, but I'll definitely make time for this one.

If one of my stars was an 88 year old actress, I'd get as much footage shot as I possibly could.

i saw a few interviews and promos and i am actually so looking forward to seeing this show. great to see jane leeves back on screen, 6 years since we last saw her on frasier; wendy malick is one of the most underrated tv actresses ever and betty white, is well, a legend!

valerie bertinelli haven't heard much of, but she should be a great addition.

finally, we have a new sitcom- hope it turns to be great. with a great cast and interesting plot, it sure looks like it could be a hit. fingers crossed!
