Exclamation "America's Sweetheart" Sandra Bullock May Retire From Movies...Moves Out of L.A.

Sandra Bullock may never do another movie again according to an article on Comcast's Entertainment.

When Sandra said she is moving to New Orleans to raise baby Louie, she meant it. New Orleans is not just going to be her home for part of the year; she will be there year round.

Bullock feels the Hollywood world is full of fakeness and does not want Louie to grow up in that surrounding. She is bringing him back to his roots and raising him in a city she loves, New Orleans.

She is selling the marriage home she shares with Jesse James and packing up her belongings and living year round in her new home, with her "perfect little man", Louie.

Sandra's friends have said she may never make another movie; this is going to be her life now. Most of us were under the impression that Sandra Bullock would go back and forth from Hollywood to New Orleans. We thought that she would continue making movies especially after her Oscar winning appearance in "Blind Side".

Bullock could command top dollar, even more so now since her award. While Sandra was away making the movie, "Blind Side", Jesse James affair was going on with Michele McGee. Maybe Sandra is realizing how important home life is in comparison to making movies.

Not that Jesse James has any type of excuse for having these affairs while Sandra was away, he could have hopped on a flight and been with her in hours instead of romping in his office with strippers. His affairs were going on in his office for years, even with Sandra Bullock downstairs in his Monster Garage building.

But if she learned anything from Jesse messing up her life is that family life is important.

Sandra Bullock told Britain's Hello Magazine that she has forgiven Jesse James and that their relationship has changed. She is hoping that someday Jesse will be part of baby Louis's life.

Sandra told the magazine that she supports Jesse in his recovery process and that she does not know what the capacity of their relationship will be in the future. She is taking one day at a time and her world will revolve around bringing up Louis now.

God bless her...getting out of LA may be just what she and her baby need. Who knows if she will ever return to acting, but for some reason I tend to believe she really does mean it - at least for now. At least she went out on top (with an Oscar!) and is ready to move on with her life. I hope and pray that she and her son will find the happiness they deserve!!

You said it best Monika! If she retires she is going out on top. She'll be missed in films, but to be honest, she doesn't have to work another day in her life.

I don't think she'll give it up for good. But I do agree that a break is exactly what she needs right now. She's someone who could take a few years off and come back right on top again.

The focus should be her being happy and making her child happy, safe and loved. From to L.A. to La. You rock, Sandy

I'll believe it when I see it...Jamie Lee Curtis is one of the few who actually retired when they said they would.

But whatever Sandra decides- as long as she's happy.

Exactly. She's worked hard for a long time, and i don't think a few years off from acting will hurt her. Sandra has experience as a producer, so she can still stay in the business through her production company if she wants.
But considering all the press from her marriage troubles, maybe it would be in her best interest to pull a Greta Garbo for a year or two.

She didn't, though. After announcing her retirement, she did Beverly Hills Chihuahua (God knows why...), and she also filmed a movie last summer.

God Bless Sandy, she truly an amazing woman! I think she'll come back to movies in a few years. I think a break is what she needs. The vulters won't give her a moment of peace, nor her sweet baby boy.

I think Hollywood needs a class act like her. Truly genuine people are hard to come by in Hollywood. I'll definitely miss her doing movies. She's one of my all time favorite actresses
