James Gandolfini Talking to HBO About a New Series
James Gandolfini's Attaboy Films production company, which has a deal with HBO, is working on a U.S. version of the French-Canadian comedy series "Taxi-22," which may also star "The Sopranos" star, reports Deadline.com.
Gandolfini is executive producing the project with writer Dave Flebotte of "Desperate Housewives" as well as Gandolfini’s managers Nancy Sanders and Mark Armstrong, Dennis Erdman, Clark Peterson and the original series' creators Patrick Huard and Francois Flamand. The U.S. version will focus on a politically incorrect New York cabbie who's trying to keep his life under control.
