I hope Buena Vista or Shout! Factory releases The Golden Palace on DVD - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I heard that Buena Vista and Shout! Factory are both aware that The Golden Girl fans want to see The Golden Palace get released on DVD and they are both also aware of the high fan base for The Golden Palace on tvshowsondvd.com. The unreleased rank for The Golden Palace is 84th as of today, May 6, 2010 which is great. Let's hope the DVD release happens sometime in 2010, 2011, or 2012.

Yeah, this is one I've never understood! Why doesn't BV just release this? I always thought of it as the 8th season of The Golden Girls, and the series is not complete without it! Sure they'res a small segment of GG fans that don't care about GP. But think of all the hardcore fans that have seen every episode of GG dozens and dozens of times, and could have a new season to watch. Also right now with the immense popularity of the incredible Betty White, its a given!

Lets get a facebook campaign going for the release of The Golden Palace!!!!!

I have also thought of The Golden Palace as an 8th season of The Golden Girls. And I totally agree with you that The Golden Girls is not complete without The Golden Palace. I think Shout! Factory would be more likely to release The Golden Palace since they have been releasing all kinds of shows on DVD.

Your idea for a facebook campaign for the release of The Golden Palace is a great idea. How would that actually work? Are you definitely going to get the campaign going or are you considering it?
