Default When Samantha, Endora or anyone else

Who was a witch character cast a spell, did it ever backfire and hit someone else,OTHER than the intended victim? The only instance I can recall is when Endora cast a spell on Darrin (Dick York)making him a cheapskate, and Samantha cast a counterspell, but it backfired, making Darrin's client,a cheapskate,a lot less cheap.,.instead of Darrin. Were there any other episodes like this?

Well, Aunt Clara DID turn the Tates' son into twins while trying to zap him up a toy.

I can remember a Dick Sergant episode once wher Samantha put a spell on Tabitha to get her to eat, but it somehow went to her instead.

In Samantha's Lost Weekend # 186, Esmeralda cast a spell on Tabitha's Milk to spark her appetite get her to eat her dinner.

Samantha had decided Tabitha would have to go without for the rest of the night due to her bad behavior & so as to not let the milk go to waste drank it herself.

This led to her getting the spell instead of Tabitha.

Not to mention in S1, Samantha's spell backfired on herself when she spiked Cousin Edgar's drink to make him fall asleep. He saw through the trick and switched mugs, which led to Sam conking out on the couch all afternoon.

I liked the episode in which Sam's old boyfriend Rollo put a love potion in a drink intended for Sam but, Endora drank it and almost married Darrin's client.

Yup, I remember that one...but wasn't she still married to Maurice, even though they were separated?

Endora & Maurice never did get an ectoplasmic interlocutory so they were still married but separated at the time.

Plus it was not of Endora's free will as she was under a spell.

And then there was the one in which Endora turned Darrin(Dick York)into a cheapskate, and Samantha tried to counter the spell, and accidentally hit Darrin's REAL cheap client(the late Parley Baer)and made HIM frugal instead of Darrin.

Moral of the story? If you're a witch, don't cast a spell on a drink. It WILL backfire.
