FX Renews "Justified" for Second Season - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

"Justified" Scores Second Season Pickup

Hold on to your cowboy hats "Justified" fans; it has just been confirmed that FX has renewed the Timothy Olyphant drama for a second season run of 13 episodes.

The critically acclaimed drama has been a consistent ratings performer since its March debut, averaging a respectable 3.4 million viewers per first-run episode.

According to an FX press release, "Justified" is basic cable's number one new show among men 18-49, and boasted the most-watched premiere episode in FX history, with its 4.9 million total viewers smoothly surpassing the 4.8 million record set by "The Shield" in 2002.

"We are very excited about the tremendous, widespread acclaim that "Justified" has received from both audiences and television critics," gushed John Landgraf, President and General Manager of FX Networks.

"Graham Yost, Tim Olyphant, Elmore Leonard and their talented partners have crafted a uniquely ambitious and entertaining series which is everything we aspired to when we developed the show."

I'm gonna start watching Justified because i usually watch Law And Order Criminal Intent on Tuesday at 10pm but the show is boring. Jeff Goldblum is a boring actor LOL. Justified seems like it has a lot of action from the commercials i've seen and i like a lot of action. Timothy Oliphant is a good actor. JamesG, have you watched the show yet? If you have, do you like it?

I think you will like it. The show is excellent. Olyphant and Goggins are great here.

Damn i missed it this past Tuesday because i was watching the Celtics and Lakers game. I forgot all about it. I'm gonna try to remember to watch it next week.
