In the second season Dick York as Darrin black and white episodes,Mary Grace Canfield of "Green Acres"played Abner's (or was it Gladys')sister Harriet,my question is this:In the Dick Sargent as Darrin episodes,did they ever mention Harriet,or was she even featured?

Harriet was Abner's Sister & was keeping house for him while Gladys was visiting her Mother.

Her character was a very effective temporary Gladys in effect till Sandra Gould came on board.

She was never mentioned again after Season Two.

Mary Grace Canfield has commented in the past that she found the mood on the set very somber & down, at first she thought it might be her when nobody seemed to pay much attention to her, but then realized that it was the the fact that everyone there were still traumatized by the loss of Alice Pierce who was so very much loved by them all.

Plus, not long after, Mary Grace Canfield got the role of Ralph Monroe on CBS' Green Acres - another reason why she never came back. Once the character of Gladys was back, there was no reason to bring back Harriet.

How many episodes was Harriet featured in? I don't remember her being in too many, but must have been more than one.
