omg! did anyone see the episode last night when Steven has a Heart Attack? that was soooooo scary! is it a 3 part episode? I'm pretty sure it is.

Yeah, it's in 3 parts, done very well. Phony "flashbacks" are used in the next two, that you can tell were recently shot but supposed to take place years earlier. The one with Fox and Gross getting news while watching a basball game still gets my eyes to well up (they both really knock the scene out great).

They totally changed the ending of part 2. In the new version, they interspersed clips of Elyse in the waiting room with clips of Steven in the operating room. The original ending of part 2 was super cheesy, with Steven flatlining in the operating room and the doctors saying "We're losing him!", and then the "To Be Continued..." message. The new ending was much better, IMHO.

I thought that the part where the doctors said, "we're losing him" was the ending of Part 1. It was the ending of part 1 last night.

That explains it. I didn't realize Steven was in the operating room for all of part 2.
