Exclamation Four 'NCIS' Stars Could Walk At End of This Season

CBS' "NCIS" could lose four integral members of the cast -- Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, David McCallum and Sean Murray -- over a contract dispute, reports Deadline.com.

Each of the stars' contracts with the show end with this season.

Negotiations over their remaining have been contentious because CBS Studios, which produces the show, has reportedly made "low-ball" offers.

At least two of the four are reportedly making well below $100,000 per episode. On the plus side, actors Mark Harmon, Rocky Carroll and Cote de Pablo are signed for next season.

If they leave, the show is dead.

Yep it is sure is. If they walk, the network might as well cancel the show

I hope the network and the actors can come to an agreement, because the show would not be the same without all of them!

I could do without Cote/Ziva, not a fan of either one, and IMO Ziva serves no purpose at all

Yea I actually liked Kate better. I don't care for Rocky Carroll either. IMO Mark Harmon and the rest are what make the show. It's not like the other crime shows were the story dictates the show. It's all about the characters.

"NCIS" Contract Dispute Update: David McCallum's Signed
Posted May 1st 2010
by Allison Waldman

Reports of Ducky's departure have been premature.

In an update on the "NCIS" cast dispute that we reported the other day, David McCallum is signed for next season. That's right, his manager told TV Guide that the previous stories had incorrectly put him in the same boat with Michael Weatherly, Sean Murray and Pauley Perrette.

McCallum's manager explained, "I'm sure some of the others are negotiating, but he's not affected by it. He falls into the Mark Harmon/Rocky Carroll category. He's signed on for additional seasons. He's excited to be coming back to the show and can't wait to see everybody."

While it's gratifying to know that McCallum has a secure deal with the show, the other three stars really need to be locked up. We said it in our story, and our many comments agreed: "NCIS" will not be the same show without Tony, Abby and McGee.

Most fans wouldn't consider replacements for these core characters satisfactory.

When Kate was killed off, I went "NOOO!!!"

After a couple of episodes with Ziva, I forgot about Kate.

Kate was a nice character, but compared to Ziva, she was boring. I'm glad Sasha Alexander left.

And if any or all of these cast members do leave, NCIS is finished. That cast has a great chemistry together -- one of the best on TV.

That is so true. You just feel good after watching an episode. You can see that the characters care about each other. I tried to give NCIS:LA a chance but I just don't care for it. It's not the same.

I have to disagree, cause I hate Ziva with a burning passion and want Kate back SA and MW had some major chemistry, I always though Kate and Tony could have some hot hate sex

Ziva is utterly pointless

The one part of the show that I did not care for last year was all that Tony and Ziva stuff where Tony killed her supposed boyfriend and then they all went to Israel. Thankfully they stopped that this year and got back to the real stories.
