Alright Frandi Fans, Are y'all ready for this FANtastic 20 questions interview with Denise Vasi (AMC's Randi Hubbard)? Well first i must give big "Thank You!" to Denise for taking time out of her very busy life to answer fans burning questions. And to Subrenie, Thank you so much for making all this happen we couldn't have done it without you. And last but not least Thank you to all you Frandi fans that submitted great question to Denise's 20 questions with Pine Valley News, It was so hard to narrow them down to just 20 hopefully we can have Denise come back soon to answer more. Pine Valley News:
How are you adjusting to living in LA after living in NY all your life?

Denise Vasi:
The adjustment has been a slow process in all honesty. NY and LA are like night and day. However, I have found aspects of LA that I love. The great weather, the ability to exercise outdoors, and I am incredibly happy with how "dog friendly" the city is.

PVN: How are the driving lessons going? and What car are you thinking of buying?

DV: Well, I haven't had the opportunity to take the permit test yet. I had an appointment but then some AMC scenes were rescheduled, so I had to move my test to a later date. I actually have a deadline date with my best friend Jeanine. If I haven't completed the permit test by the end of April, then I have to pay her next airfare to LA. If I do, then she pays for my next trip home to NY
Part of me wants a truck because I am a truck kinda girl. Part of me wants a convertible mini cooper because the top goes down and its super easy to park. Let's see which part wins.
(NOTE: Denise got her driving learners permit last Wednesday)

PVN: You got engaged not to long ago right, Congrats! have you set a date and can we see your ring?

DV: I was engaged in the fall of last year. However, we decided to call the engagement off shortly after. It's a very personal matter. I ask that everyone respect our privacy in regards to the subject.

PVN: Do you hang out with any of your co stars outside of work? If so who?

DV: Yes of course! Mostly Stephanie, Chrishell and JR. Missy and I hardly get a chance between our opposite schedules. Some how though, we are always at different airports at the same time. So we "BBM" (blackberry messenger) to complain about delays, share a drink, and keep each other company.

PVN: You have done so many things from modeling, daytime, and music videos.
Whats your ultimate career goal?

DV: My goal is the same professionally as it is personally.
Be the best that I can be at what I'm doing, at the time!!!
Life is about learning, progression, and evolving. As long as I never stop pushing myself. As long as I'm always "thirsty" to learn and grow, both as an actress and as an individual, well then, I will always reach my goal.

PVN: What's it like to work with some the veterans like Susan Lucci, Darnell Williams and Debbie Morgan?

DV: I've said this before and I will say it again-- "Nothing short of an honor!"

PVN: Randi & Frankie just celebrated their 1 year anniversary . Will they be hearing the pitter patter of little feet anytime soon?

DV: Nice try Honestly I don't know. That's in the hands of the writers.
I know the fans really want it. There was a whole baby campaign for us. A life size stork was delivered to the studio for our one year anniversary. I also received a "build a bear" baby named "Morgan Hubbard." Frandi fans rock!

PVN: Randi and Madison are constantly at odds with each other while working at Fusion. How do you and Stephanie Gatschet handle doing these scenes? Are you friends in real life?

DV: Stephy and I refer to each other as "TV Wifey." She has become one of my best girlfriends. We are having such an amazing time playing our characters on the show because it's the complete opposite dynamic of our real life friendship. As far as preparation-- we spend time in HER dressing room (mine is always a wreck) going over lines and point of view. She's an actors actor. On set we openly joke about taking each other down. Did you see the photo on twitter last week? She was trying to strangle me. Hilarious.

PVN: What is the best acting advice given to you by one of your AMC co-stars? and who gave it to you?

DV: Its not advice but a reminder that I play over and over in my head. When there's a difficult speech that one might not find a personal way to relate or is simply explanatory for the audience, as an actress I must ask the character... "Why are you saying this?" Thorsten... Damn he's good!

PVN: Why do you think the writers haven't discussed Randi's back story in depth yet?

DV: I DON'T KNOW but I'm dreaming about the day we get to. I think its something the fans not only crave but deserve to know.

PVN: Which actor & actress could you see playing Randi's parents?

DV: Randi's mom passed from cancer when she was 7 but I think it would make for a great story if David (Vincent) was her father.

PVN: As a professional model yourself, don't you think Randi should be the face of FUSION?

DV: No!!! Sorry but its too cliche.
Anyway, Randi wasn't really comfy in front of the camera during her small stint. Remember? Right before Frankie and Erica discovered the video tape that leaked online of Randi having intercourse with a "John."

PVN: Who would you like your first cat fight scene to be with?

DV: Madison! 100%. Stephy and I are dying for one.

PVN: Have you given the writers input into how you want Randi written? If so, what?

DV: Our Execute Producer Julie is amazing and always available for us to talk to about character and story. So I go to her when I have questions or input.

PVN: Will we ever see Randi wear her hair curly on the show?

DV: Randi doesn't have curly hair. Denise does. I'm saving it in case I ever have to play Randi's evil twin sister. Haha.

PVN: Do you have a specific method for memorizing your lines?

DV: I think it's a misconception to say we memorize. Know your lines, know where your going with your words, and run your lines with your scene partner.

PVN: When & Where is the best place & time for you to study your lines?

DV: As soon as I get my script I read them. Then I look at them again a few days before. The night before taping them I make character decisions and then the next day I run them with my scene partner.

PVN: If you hadn't become an actor or a model, what other career would you of chose for yourself and why?

DV: Hmmm not sure. Maybe a veterinarian, l love animals.

PVN: You've previously traveled to Lebanon, is traveling something you like to do in your spare time? Are there any other exotic locations you'd love to visit?

DV: I love to travel. I love airports and I love discovering new places and cultures. I'd like to go to Thailand in 2011.

PVN: Are you surprised at how zealous Frandi fans are? As a Birthday gift the Frandi Forever fans gave you Spa and Car Service gift certificates. Have you gone to the Spa or used the Car Service?

DV: As I said earlier, Frandi fans rock. I could not express my gratitude and excitement. The best part was telling my mom. She was so amazed as to how thoughtful the car service portion of the gift was. Which I have used to get to the airport. I'm saving my spa certificate for a really stressful week.
