I guess the first two seasons sold pretty good after all.

Of course, fans of the show knew this would happen.

I was so excited to see this news. They released the whole series in less than a year. That's impressive, the fastest I have ever seen a series come out. It will be so wonderful having a full dvd set of this show. Hoping they include the reunion movie as a bonus feature.

It's nice that the three seasons are being released so quickly. If not for the fact that I have the complete uncut series (excellent quality recordings from television) I would buy these. But I'm very pleased with what I have. Thanks anyway, Shout! Factory.

So we'll assume the girl in black is "Cathy" and the girl with the green turtleneck
is Patty on the Season 3 box cover.

This is the real Cathy

I think perhaps after the first season set, Shout Factory probably just decided to feature a photo of Patty Duke "in character" as Patty and then as herself, since the show was named after her.

Neither photo on the Season 2 or 3 box resembles Cathy Lane and photos of the two side-by-side are rare, especially in color.

How can they ignore Cathy like that? Don't they realize that she is the star of the show?

I'm sure looking forward to this too. True, I think that with this 3rd-season, with the transition of production from NY to CA, the series did tend to somehow lose a lot of its unique charm. But, I still enjoy the characters so much that it manages to make up for things. Shout has done a really great job with the series so far. The only regret is that they were apparently unable to include any cast commercials as extras. I would LOVE to have seen some of those!
