1)Did Dick York ever meet Dick Sargent?I heard they did,and.later on,Dick Sargent praised Dick York for doing a great job as Darrin.(I think even HE knew,as the rest of us did,that Dick York WAS Darrin Stephens.Too bad Elizabeth Montgomery didn't feel the same way.Or did she?)And 2)Did Dick York ever say anything about Dick Sargent's performance as Darrin?

First off Dick York was Not Darrin Stephens so there was nothing of that nature for Dick Sargent to realize.

Rather Dick York was one of two actors with Dick Sargent being the other one who played the character called Darren Stephens, something they both did superbly.

That being so, as far as i know neither Dick York or Dick Sargent ever met each other in person.

They both did speak well of each other as Darrin Stephens while being interviewed by Herbie Pilato for his book Bewitched Forever, Dick York complimented Dick Sargent on his portrayal of Darrin Stephens as Dick Sargent did likewise of Dick York.

Elizabeth Montgomery never publicly or even privately stated he preference between the two as actors in their portrayal of Darrin Stephens.

This being said she clearly was on a personal basis very good friends with Dick Sargent & not with Dick York, of course this has nothing to do with who she thought was the better in the role of Darrin Stephens.
