Ralph Kramden, a NJ Devils fan? (Part 5)

(The Philadelphia Flyers won the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals 4 games to 1 by beating the NJ Devils 3-0.)

(Ralph is sitting on the steps of his apartment building. Ed comes out.)

Ed: "What a sad game Ralph. The Devils really blew it."

Ralph: "You are telling me Norton. Those pathetic New Jersey Devils really got clobbered. I can't believe that those lowly Flyers beat them."

Ed: "Now you have to face that Joe Fenstablau tomorrow."

Ralph: "Yes, I do. That blabbermouth is going to be real loud tomorrow."

Ed: "Well, at this time you really got to cher up Ralph. There is always next year and the year after. I bet one of the hockey teams from this area will go all the way."

Ralph: "You think so?"

Ed: "I know so. Especially those Devils. They have all the talent in the world."

Ralph: "Yeah. You know, I never played hockey before."

Ed: "I wonder how much water they use to freeze up the ink."

Ralph: "You stupe. They don't use water. They use something else."

Ed: "Wow! If they used water, I wonder how much of it would flow into the sewer system."

Ralph: "Like I said, I never played hockey. I was too scared."

Ed: "You probably would break the ice."

Ralph: "Oh, you are a riot Norton. Yeah, I do believe that one of the hockey teams from this area will go all the way."

Ed: "All the way until the end of the season that is. Whatever they make the playoffs is a different story."

Ralph (yells): "GET INSIDE NORTON! GEEEEEEEEET INSIDE YOUR APARTMENT BEFORE I KILL YOU."

(Ed leaves.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. The Miami Beach audiences are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
