I think it's far better than any modern sitcom on the air. In fact, I think it would blow them away. And how do you think it would do if CBS would colorize it with the very top state of the art and run it in prime time? TV networks now love the cheapest shows possible and this would surely cost far less than any other new show. Would Carl go for it if the first modern sitcom was made to look modern and show it could compete with any new show?
And I wouldn't suggest this for any other b&w show than TDVDS. Would enough people watch if they did it? |

Interesting proposal. It might work, if the show weren't too "dated." Of
course, there were no cell phones then (or even cordless phones), and the fashions were different. I can't think of any other show that has done it. About the closest was when NBC colorized Alfred Hitchcock's introductions for a new version of Alfred Hitchcock Presents, years after the master of suspense had passed away. (Only his original intros were colorized; the episodes themselves were brand-new.) |

It wouldnt fit. This show is too good to be mixed up with the garbage that are called TV shows today.
