Lucy and the Efficiency Expert - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hey, I was just watching the episode "Lucy and the Efficiency Expert" on Youtube and got to wondering. You know in the scene where they're in the toy factory and Lucy is trying to put the rocking horses together and the conveyer belt starts to get away from her. Does this scene kind of remind you of the I Love Lucy episode "Job Switching" where Lucy and Ethel are in the candy factory?

Did they reuse some storyline ideas from I Love Lucy to come up with story ideas for The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy? I heard there where a few episodes in Here's Lucy that was a durect remake of some I Love Lucy episodes.

Many episodes of all three hit Lucy series share common themes. So yes, some were outright remakes.
