Question Is it Time For Kelsey Grammer to Dust Off His Frasier Crane Character?

With his last two sitcom attempts (Back to You & Hank) flopping. Do you think it might be time for Kelsey to maybe consider reprising his Dr. Frasier Crane character in another sitcom or even a dramedy? As fans of "Frasier" we all know that the character was left open as their really was not certain finale. Thoughts?

Between Cheers & Frasier, Kelsey Grammer played Frasier Crane for 20 years.

I think he should keep trying to find another character that will hopefully find a large audience.

Back To You was a good show. They didn't renew that, but they'll renew a bad show like Til Death.

They didn'treally give Back To You a chance. Of course I'm sure at least some of us will always think of Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Frasier Crane.

He'll always be Dr. Frasier Crane to me (playing him for 20 years does that sort of thing). An 'after Frasier' series would be interesting, just to see what has become of the Dr. and how his life has changed in the years since. Won't happen of course, but always fun to think and talk about.

Yeah, I have to agree, Kelsey will always be Frasier to me, too. I would think after 20 years, the character's got to be pretty hard to shake, LOL. I don't see him ever returning to the role, but I would be interested if he did. I would love to know what happened between him and Charlotte in Chicago, and how Daphne and Niles and their son are doing now. At least there's fanfic to give us some of those answers!

It would be nice to see his Frasier character back in action. Even if they couldn't get everyone back for the show, maybe they could still find time to make a few guest appearances. I'd really enjoy it.

I agree. It would be interesting to see how Frasier is doing as well as Niles, Daphne and their son David. I know it's only been six years, but a reunion would be nice.

Heart I LOVE FRASIER

Have my own Frasier yahoo group, retraced his steps in Seattle from Frasier Crane Day, purchased Frasier shirts from Simply Seattle in Seattle, I have created a Frasier Crane Game (with game board and game pieces, have all of the box sets...
to make a longer story short, I went on KesleyLive.com and he had a live broadcast and asked about a reunion show and he said that we would have to accept Frasier as it is and that there would be no reunion show.

I WISH I COULD BUY A BLOOPERS DVD OF FRASIER!

Going to Greece next month and I plan to get the closest thing I can get to the miniature Greek Corinthian Battle Helmet like Frasier had on his shelf by the kitchen in the show.

Good for him.

No offense, Pat, but IMO, it's better to remember things as they were. Besides, Jane Leeves will be on the new show Hot In Cleveland next week, so you can at least see her.

Dr. Thong,
No offense taken. I am just greatful that there are so many seasons. If I just watched one a day, it would take me well over half a year to get through them.
Have a great day.

Not a bad way to spend a year, Pat.

Though I'd cheat, because when it comes to my favorite show on DVD - M*A*S*H, I watch at least two episodes at a time.
