'True Blood' Star Alexander Skarsgard Restrained By Police Over Paparazzi

"True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgard had to be restrained by police at California's Coachella Music & Arts Festival this weekend after becoming incensed by the paparazzi snapping him with his rumored girlfriend Kate Bosworth.

The actors were among a host of celebrities who headed out to Indio for the weekend to take in sets by artists including Muse, Gorillaz, Jay-Z and Public Image Limited (PiL).

But Skarsgard found himself being held back by authorities on Saturday night when he lost his temper and snapped at the photographers.

The 33 year old, who was pictured with clenched fists, eventually calmed down after efforts by cops and a group of his pals.

No arrests are thought to have been made during the incident, reports Access Hollywood.

Skarsgard and Bosworth have each dismissed reports they are dating since they were first romantically linked in September, despite continually being photographed out together.
