I know as well as anyone reading this that trying to stimulate any conversation about the forgotten show is virtually a lost cause! However, I refuse to give up on trying! I have thought of a very far-fetched way to commemorate the number of views of my last thread on this page. Twenty years ago, "Wings" came on the air. Is anyone here a fan of that show? I would say that it catered to a very different audiance than "Caroline in the City". I happened to like both show, but I have no idea how many other people there are in that catogory. Some people have speculated that a good alternate title for that show would have been "Cheers II"! This is mainly because of how similar the situations of both shows tended to be. There was even some overlap between the characters. In any event, take care and be well!

I used to watch both series and enjoyed both very much. I've seen most Wings episodes multiple times in syndication, but I can't recall having seen any Caroline episode more than once or twice. Both had good casts and I liked the scripting. One other thing is that I sometimes took more interest in the supporting characters, like those played by Amy Pietz and Amy Yasbeck. The Amys certainly caught my attention!

Throughout the recent past, I have been working my fingers to the bones in an attempt to stimulate some conversation about this fine series! Just take a look at the results! A couple of minutes, I attempted to get things going by starting yet another thread about site traffic. Because this is one of my very few threads that managed to generate a response, I have decided to see what happens if I bring it to the top of the page. Bye! |
