Bank Robber - Glued alarm button and threw a rock in the window

This was the story of a bank robbery. The police believe that a week earlier the robber threw a rock through the bank door as a test to see what kind of police response he would get. He also glued the alarm buttons.

Was there ever any resolution to this?

Was there ever any resolution to this?

The cops came up with a suspect, but the man died in a motorcycle accident before they had a chance to build a case against him. Whether this person really was the robber is anyone's guess. However, the case has since been considered closed.

At the time of the suspect's death, there must have been too little evidence for the cops to justify releasing his name to the public. This might be why the person's name wasn't mentioned in the UM update.
