"Glee" Return Sets Series Ratings Record
April 14, 2010 | By: Gary Susman The return of "Glee" after a four-month absence hit Fox's network rivals like a blue slushie in the face. Not only did last night's midseason premiere help Fox score a Tuesday night ratings victory, but the show's audience of 13.7 million set a record both for "Glee" and for all of this season's new scripted series. According to the Hollywood Reporter's Live Feed blog, "Glee's" re-introduction (an episode aptly titled 'Hell-O') drew a 5.6 rating among adults 18 to 49, holding on to 78 percent of the audience from its lead-in, "American Idol" (20.6 million, 7.3 rating).
