Zodiac Killer's True Identity?

Saw a show "True crime with Aphrodite Jones" http://http://investigation.discover...ac-killer.html

A guy named Dennis Kaufman claims his step-father Jack Torrance is the Zodiac Killer. The FBI and another handwriting expert say his writing matches. The step-son found a "zodiac killer" hood stuffed in an old something or rather that his step-father had enquired about getting back from him. FBI apparently has the hood and tood DNA from it and it matches
Torrance and I think they said it matched DNA from crime scenes (I might be wrong about this last part). Go to the link and watch it.
I don't know if it's the whole episode or not.

So far though, no one can get the FBI to publicly publish its results or make a ruling on if the case is solved or not.

Of course, as I go and search this topic out more thoroughly, there are many people who don't believe this is true. Surprising then, some of the statements that are made by Aphrodite Jones about the FBI haviang made matches with some evidence. Either the DNA matches or it doesn't!? Hmmmm

Jack Tarrance's name has come up before as Zodiac.

I believe it was his daughter that said that she was with him when he committed the murder.

Read some more on Jack Tarrance and you'll see why so many people are skeptical.

Personally, I wish Jack Tarrance was Zodiac...because he would be too drunk to actually committ the crimes.

One of the "Unsolved Mysteries" Season Opener Episodes (Sorry I have no idea what year? 1990's?) Put forward a theory. The Zodiac Killer & The Uni Bomber were in fact one and the same. They showed a photo of Unibomber Theodore Kascinski taken around the time of the Zodiac Killings and it bore an uncanny resemblance to the Zodiac composite drawing.

I watched this show as well and found the Jack Tarrance link very compelling. I almost thought finding the "zodiac hood" was one of those too good to be true moments but that may be just me. As for the DNA, all Aphrodite said was they were in the process of examining the hood and comparing DNA--no mention of a match was said at least on this particular show.

Among the many problems I have with Jack Tarrence being Z, the ones that stands out is that

1. I can't see Jack Tarrence writing the type of letters that Zodiac did. I wonder if he;s even sober enough to be that eloquent.

2. Of all the items that Jack could provide as proof of Zodiac...he chooses the Mask..something that could be easily fabricated.

Why not Paul Stine's shirt, keys, driver's license or more importantly one of the zodiac ciphers!!

3. As far as I know, Jack Tarrance was not homosexual A trait that most Zodiac suspects seem to exhibit.
