Default The Lucy Show Official Second Season July 13, 2010?

Hey, I was just wondering. Do you think they're still planning on releasing the second season of The Lucy Show on July 13? I was over at tvshowsonline.com looking at the release schedule and there is no listing for The Lucy Show. I even looked at all the months from now to November and there is no list of TLS anywhere?

Do you think they should have had an anouncement for the second season by now? I was just wondering because it's already April 13 and there hasn't been anymore updates since November. Also, we got an update of Here's Lucy 3rd Season on the 17th of March. So, do you think they're still planning of release the second season of TLS in July or do you think that July 13 thing was just a rumor? Please let me know. Thanks.

Oh, also in the release schedule there are three listings for July 13 but none where The Lucy Show.

Actually, this is the first I've seen an actual release date. There has been no official confirmation, but on that other thread a couple of people are reassuring us that it is indeed in production. I can only hope its in July, but all we can do is hang in there. We were getting anxious for an announcement for Here's Lucy season 3 and The Mothers-in-Law too, but eventually they got release dates and everybodys excited! Maybe this is a new strategy to generate enthusiasem.

I've been hoping we would hear something about this soon. I'm beginning to doubt that July date is going to hold. It will probably be delayed. I actually heard from one of the guys who is working on it a few months ago and he did say the October date for Season 3 is not gonna happen. He said the info was wrong and there wouldn't be enough time to produce the Season 3 set for an October release. They are putting a lot of effort into these. I just hope CBS/Paramount continues to authorize them. Sales for Season 1 were beyond expectation. All you have to do is look at the reviews. So many people have been clamouring for about a year now for Season 2. It's coming. We just don't know when yet.

Scroll down to the thread you started (asking basically the same question) a week before this one, there's lots of response. I, myself am encouraged that a lot is going into seasons 2 & 3, but we just have to be patient for their releases!

Cool

You would probably get more responses if any of us had an answer to your question. Unfortunately no official announcement has been made regarding a release date. So we are just as in the dark as you. As has already been mentioned we do know that season two is being worked on by a very dedicated group of people. So we do know it will come out. We just don't know when.

I did make an attempt to contact the person I had spoken with before to see if they were close to setting a release date. He's not a close friend or anything, just someone I chatted with a while ago regarding "The Lucy Show Season 1" dvd. But so far, he has not responded. I'm assuming they are still working on it. But I would not get my hopes up about the July 13 date until we hear some sort of confirmation from the studio.

Very exciting news. A relief to hear a confirmed announcement. I heard people didn't care for the coverart but "Lucy and Viv Open a Restaurant" is actually one of my faves. And I love that they included the crash through the wall picture at the bottom. Perfect!
