I can't find anything about this online or anyone who claims to know anything about the alleged incident, but of course it doesn't mean it didn't happen. Anyone able to look in biographies to check?

I never heard (or read) that. And I've read all their biographies.
Now, David Cassidy had a fan who was killed at one of his concerts in 1974. That's one of the things that made him want to get out of show business completely. He was just devastated. The young girl had a pre-existing heart condition that contributed to her death, but it just happened to be at one of his shows, when the fans were trying to swarm the stage. Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Cassidy |
