It was 40 Years Ago Today...
The Beatles has called it The End.
The Beatles had financial problems and legal problems at this time. Paul wanted Eastman to help Apple, but they were afraid that nepotism may come in if Paul married Linda (which he did). And it was Paul McCartney who wanted to keep the band afloat! |

How ironic, and prophetic, that the final track on the final album they ever
recorded (Abbey Road) was titled "The End." But what memories the Fab Four gave us. Who would have thought that four decades later we would still be listening to their unforgettable songs? |
