10 Things this show got correct about the Korean War
Okay this show was interesting. It was at it's best with Potter/Winchester and I didn't care for the Klinger character. Having him stop dressing in drag was an improvement IMHO.
Having said that there were a lot of problems. Specifically calling the 1970s the 1950s. Can anybody name 10 things they actually got right about the period this show was actually set in?
BUT; I can name some things they got right about the actual MASH units:
they really were "lax" in the discipline since they couldn't afford to disipline doctors. There was a shortage of them and it got worse as the war dragged on.
most of the doctors were young and some were drafted right out of residency (remember when B.J. came they said he was "fresh out of residency"?)
there really was little or no warning before the wounded came, and they never knew how many there would be.
