Yup I know all of those tunes.
Great songs and more proof that rock and roll was not dead before the Beatles came here. |

I only know #8, "Sixteen Reasons", and #9, "I Only Have Eyes For You".
I remember once, somewhere online, hearing Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams sing #8--as Laverne and Shirley, of course! I picture the two bottlecappers sitting on the steps outside their apartment at 730 Knapp Street sucking on popsicles, if that gives you any clue--album cover, perhaps? Of course, #9 was played on an episode of The Wonder Years!

I once saw Marshall Crenshaw do a cover version of "Love My Life Away" in concert, on a PBS TV special back in the 1980s. Great song. |

And how about these goodies 1957's "Whispering Bells"by the Dell-Vikings(the same group who did 1957's"Come Go With Me"),1959's "Pretty Blue Eyes"("Thought I was in Love Before -and then you moved in next door with your blue eyes, pretty blue eyes....")and 1960's "Footsteps",both by Steve Lawrence, the B-side of 1960"I'm Sorry"called "That's all You Gotta Do" by Brenda Lee(one of her many hits-and written by the late Jerry Reed, and 1961's very peppy hit instrumental (and follow up to his hit instrumental "Last Date")called "On the Rebound"by the late Floyd Cramer. All were hits.Remember them.

I know a couple, but I got a few 50's & Early 60's songs that are gems....
I even thought of making a film called "Moondog Millionaire", which is a quasi-parody of "Slumdog Millionaire" and "American Graffiti". |
