If I'm ever in the Motor City (That may not happen), I thought of having a soundtrack of ALL the best songs of Motown. I have a few, but I'd like to find some more.

Marvin Gaye
Stevie Wonder
Diana Ross
The Supremes (Diana Ross Years)
Temptations (NOT "The Way You Do The Things You Do"...I don't like that song)

or check out Motown's rock side like the great Rare Earth, and a band called the Underdogs who do a smokin' (and I mean smokin')version of the Tempts "The Way You Do, The Things You Do".

Syreeta, singer/songwriter and the first wife of Stevie Wonder (they often worked in tandem), is one of Motown's great underrated artists. Though she died in 2004, her music lives on - a lot of it is on iTunes, as well as some CD compilations.
