looking for two cartoons - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I remember them from when i was a kid but can't recall what the were called so let me know if you can remember the name.

the first cartoon i beleive it was about a little boy with a dinosaur as a friend and i remember them running away. It's not pete's dragon. It is a full on cartoon and i remember the use to show it on tv once a year.

the second cartoon is about a little boy who lives on a tiny planet by himself he may have had a pet can't remember. But he leaves his planet for some reason.

wish i could remember the names and more details...if you have any ideas let me know...

Maybe "The Adventures of the Little Prince" He lived on Asteroid B612,and had Swifty The Space Bird. It aired on Nickelodeon in the early 80's.

thanks i think that is it. Although i thought it was a movie cuz i had it on vhs when i was a kid. i must have had one episode on video.

i think the answer to your question about the second cartoon you mentioned was "Dodo, The Kid From Outer space." He had a pet bird named Compi.
