I found a real treasure at the store today. The African Queen Commemorative Box Set. This is the first time the African Queen has ever been released on DVD. As a Bogart fan I am thrilled to finally own the only movie for which Humphrey Bogart won an Academy Award. Besides the movie itself, the Commemorative Set also contains A CD of The African Queen when it was performed as a radio play on Lux Radio Theater, a copy of the out of print book "The Making ofThe African Queen or How I went to Africa with Bogart , Bacall, and Houston and almost lost my mind" by Katherine Hepburn, a set of eight 5x7 photos from the film based on original theater lobby cards, and a SEN TYPE which is a card with four frames of 35 mm film inserted in it. Printed on this card is a description of how the technicolour process works.
