Need some help - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hey all, just throwing this out to cyberspace, so here goes: I acted in an Unsolved Mysteries in 1996, an episode called the Taunting Bank Robber. I was an actor then and they came to shoot in my town (Columbia, SC) so I got a call, auditioned and got the part of the TBR's one-time accomplice ( I almost got the main role but didn't look enough like him). At any rate, I've done a lot of various media gigs in my life, but as it happens this was one of only two national television shows I've ever done. The rub is, I've never seen it! I gathered from some research that they don't have seasons of UM on DVD. Is this true? I was wondering how I could get a copy? I really don't want to buy the whole series on DVD, thassa lotta money! If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Oh, and please don't trash this episode too much, actors do all kinds of things for money, plus it was a lot of fun. Thank you very much!

I'll go ahead and move this over to the UM board. Really interesting you were on UM. There were a lot of bank robber segments, can you give some more details about it?

Thanks for doing that, madame moderator. Other than the info I posted, not too much. We shot my scenes in one 12 hour day. They had a gun wrangler because we used guns, so that was interesting. I learned 3 pages of script and didn't say a word of it- the director just changed it all. Oh, and at the time it was a record capture time for them- like about 6 hours to get the guy (the TBR, that is). A hotel manager was watching, noticed him as a guest and called the FBI. They came and got him. I believe the record was eclipsed in like two months. But it's still nice the show helped. Anyway, thanks again, hopefully I'll hear some news soon from somebody. Later!
