Ponch was singing the Kool & The Gang hit in one episode. What was the title, when did it air and was Larry Wilcox still on the show at that point? Thanks.

The episode was called "Battle of the Bands" and yep, Larry was still on it. The script originally called for Jon to sing, not Ponch but Larry chickened out..LOL! He had released a disco song at the time called "Me and My Love" and was supposed to be on the Tonight Show too but decided that he didn't want to embarrass himself..LOL!
