The Jeffersons Shout! Factory

I was wondering if anyone has heard if maybe Shout! Factory might pick up the rights to The Jeffersons from Sony Pictures for seasons 7-12? I know that in recent weeks Shout!has aquried several shows to keep producing such as Room 222,Facts Of Life,Mr.Belvadere among others. So maybe there's a chance.

I haven't heard anything, but it's funny that you posted this because I responded to a post mentioning serious doubt of weather or not they would complete this series and I mentioned that LITB was finally bought by Shout after almost 4 long years of waiting after the second season was released by Universal. Shout seems to be the ones who are buying the rights to these classic shows from the studios who seem to care about only releasing the crap you see on TV today so I say good for them!! You can't go wrong in making these classics because there are still much more of us then they thin that prefer the classics to the new junk. The other studios seem to want to appeal to the younger crowd only....as TV Land started doing and look what has become of them. Nothing but crap with their High School reunion junk and whatever else they choose to show, totally opposite of what they started out as.
