RIP Alex Chilton.
That's really sad. I've always been interested in hearing Big Star's music. I think they were described in the 70's as leaders or pioneers of the power-pop movement.

Both Big Star and The Box Tops are amazing bands.
Huge huge loss. If you dont know about these bands, do yourself a favor and check them both out.
