Help on a possible case - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

My memory might be playing tricks on me - did UM ever air a case in which an abducted (young?) woman managed to escape her kidnapper and phone police from a restaurant, rest stop, or something like that? It may have been some other show.

Not sure if its the same one you're talking about, but I remember America's Most Wanted had a case where a young blonde woman escaped and went frantically knocking on houses in the neighborhood. I believe they eventually caught the guy but I'm not 100%. I can't remember anything else about it.

Not sure if this is the one you're talking about but when Paul Stamper abducted his estranged or ex-wife Theresa they showed a scene where they were at a restaurant. She told him she had to use the restroom and while back there she begged someone that worked there to call the police and I believe that was how she escaped.

Might be the native indian girl who called the cops, and then was later seen at a resturant? I'd put her name, but I really have no clue how to spel it correctly.

That's what it was. It was part of an Update, right?

Well the scene you're referring to was part of the original segment. There was an update though where he was apprehended and received a lengthy prison term.
