But the way they handled the Rhoda/Joe separation in these early S3 episodes was quite well done and realistic. The writing and acting is superb. Long story short, I will buy season three.

I'm going to pick up Season 2 and 3. Shout Factory messed up Season 1 with edited episodes and bad video quality. I wish Shout would redo Season 1.

Great news about season3 of Rhoda,so pleased they're releasing them so quick,I totally agree I'd love a release of season1 with unedited, remastered episodes.
A lot of good episodes in season3,sadly we only have one epiosde in season3 featuring Nancy Walker but great support from Anna Meara and Ron Silver,as well as Julie Kavner.

Since Season 3 is the season where Rhoda and Joe split up, a great extra for this set would be the unedited version of the pilot "Joe" from season 1 where they first met.

It is my hope that seasons 4 & 5 are released together in one set, and then Phyllis comes next.

If you go to deepdiscount.com, you will find all three sets at very good prices. I have done business with them in the past, and they are great to do business with. Some of the items can be out-of-stock when you order, but they usually fill the order quickly (within a few weeks). The low prices make it worth it.
