Default Tina's casting choice for new Gilligan's Island movie

I hope Tina Louise does a cameo or play Ginger again in the new movie

Cool

I have to admit I like her choice of Betty White as Mrs. Howell!

I thought Betty White as Mrs.Howell was a good idea.....and now that would be my actual choice..

I sure hope she doesn't, after snubbing Gilligan's Island since she left the original series, refusing to appear in reunions, etc....now that just her and Dawn remain, she still has no right to any opinion on "Gilligan" and to be honest as far as I know, her views haven't changed. But I always love once the major stars die, actors show regret, ala a certain "Charlie's Angels" cast member now lamenting for her ruining any chance of a reunion when originally offered, only since Farrah died.

Very very true!!

Tina is known for hating the show that made her a pop culture icon worldwide. She refused to take part in the reunion movies, cartoons, etc.
Sure she continued with her film and tv career and did some commercials
after GI ended. But the woman hasn't had an acting gig since 2004. She's one
of the last surviving castaways and she should do at least a cameo for her fans. This could be her last chance.

Dawn and Tina are not the only remaining G.I. cast members. Russell Johnson who played the Professor is still very much alive. Any G.I fan who doesn't know that probably has no more right to an opinion on Gilligan than Tina.

While I know where everyone is coming from in terms of "snubbing," to be fair I believe she has taken part in certain cast reunions through the years when it has involved charity events and she did appear several years ago on the TV Land awards show with other remaining cast members including Bob Denver.
