...but in real life; didn't.
Henry Winkler was TERRIFIED of motorcycles. On "HAPPY DAYS" whenever Fonzie had to ride his into a scene, a couple crew members would wheel it up to the camera, he'd get on, and they'd push it into the scene. None of the actors on "THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY" with the exeption of David Cassidy, could play musical instruments. The first time Danny Bonoduce had to pretend to play a bass, he strummed it and David Cassidy yelled "IT'S A BASS, YOU PLUCK IT YOU DON'T STRUM IT LIKE A GUTAIR"! |

I seem to recall that Michael Richards had this really strict vegetarian diet, I think it was a lot of fresh and whole foods, and really struggled with fatty processed food and meat on certain episodes.

Mel Blanc--the voice of Bugs Bunny--hated carrots. According to his autobiography, That's Not All Folks, the familiar line "What's up, Doc?"
was incomplete without the sound of the rabbit nibbling on a carrot. This presented some problems for Mel. "First of all, I don't especially like raw carrots. And second, I found it impossible to chew, swallow and be ready to say my next line. We tried substituting other vegetables, but with unsatisfactory results. The solution was to stop the tape so I could spit the carrot into a wastebasket and then proceed with the script." |

Andy Kaufman - on camera his Latka character was naive. In real life, he was a completly different from Latka as he acted more like Latka's alter-ego Vic in real life. Brash and arrogant. in fact, Kaufman always resented being called a comedian.
Ashton Kutcher - his Kelso character on That '70s Show was a dimwit. In real-life, he looks like he plays the dimwit role, but he's FAR from a dimwit and a lot smarter than his Kelso character. Alan Alda - his character on M*A*S*H was a womanizer. In real-life he was more of a family man. |
