You've probably heard by now the awesome news that it's now official that Betty White will host SNL I think on May 8 (thanks to a Facebook petition). Now here's a chance to see a Betty White rarity: the series she did for MTM Enterprises right after TMTMS ended, which also featured Georgia Engel. Here are the links:

Hey thanks for posting.

I got all of "The Bettty White Show" sent it me from the US on vhs,a few years ago,apart from the second part of the episode where Joyce and John find they're still married.
In the 80s in the UK,Channel 4 did a special MTM night and showed the pilot episode of "The Betty White Show",they later showed the whole series.
Betty was interviewed on that MTM night,said they did consider giving Sue-Ann a spinoff but because Phyllis had only lasted two seasons and she felt the "edge" had been taken off that character,"The Betty White Show" came into being.
Betty herself,isn't a fan of "The Betty White Show",she calls it the "late unlamented sitcom",I liked it,thought Betty and John Hillerman were particularly good,Georgia Engel seemed to be under used in it though.

I recall watching the show when it was on and I never liked it myself. I was a teen back then and remember she was not as funny as she was on MTM (she came across as a bit mean-spirited).
