Do you feel more stressed when it's daylight savings time?

I was certainly stressed this morning. I forgot to set my clocks an hour forward so I slept in and was almost late for Church. I had to run around and get shaved and dressed really quickly and get out the door and on my way. Definitely stressful.

Here in AZ ( except, I think, the Navajo Nation ) we don't have to mess with that.

I never understood the point of DST anyway. The only good time is in the fall when you gain an hour and get more sleep.

I *love* Daylight Savings Time. If anything, *my* problem is just in the fall when time resets back to normal.

The clock may say 7:30 a.m. but my body says 6:30. I'm not one who adjusts to the hr. chg quickly - it takes me abt. a week for my body to really get it down. But then, the other way around, when we get an extra hr. of sleep - now that's the switch I like (although the trade off is darkness @ 4:30 in the afternoon)

we have own version of daylight savings time in UK- in early april we turn the clocks forward one hour during british summer time. we lose an hour's sleep. i hate it too.
i'm with monika when i say i prefer fall- don't like summer that much anyway and as i need that extra hour of sleep. |

It did stress me out a little - I work third shift, and had to work Saturday night-Sunday morning. So I was at work when the time change happened... I normally work until 6:30am, but because of the time change, I and my other coworkers had to stay until 7:30am. Yucky!
I was at work when we fell back last year, too... ****in' weird. I think I ended up working until 7am that day... So with the extra hour that day, I think I worked 10 hours. |
