Gary Coleman is Now the Lead Singer of a Hard Rock Band Called Big G Willis
Canandaigua, N.Y. — Gary Coleman came to prominence in the 1970s and ’80s, starring as Arnold in the sitcom “Diff’rent Strokes.” His character's catch-phrase — “Whatchoo talkin’ about, Willis?” — has
outlived the show by decades. While Coleman’s adult performing career has been more sporadic, it’s included several appearances on shows such as “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and “The Simpsons,” a regular stint in the 2004 season of “The Surreal Life,” a few run-ins with the law ... plus a California gubernatorial candidacy in 2003. (That other Arnold won.) Coleman will appear at The Temple on Niagara Street in Canandaigua, where he’ll take part in a meet-and-greet and do some stand-up, according to Temple owner Robert Houle. Coleman also might sing with his new hard-rock band Big G Willis, according to Houle. http://www.mpnnow.com/entertainment/...andaigua-venue |
