I can think of two reasons why Burger King is jermain to this show in general and present situation in particular. In the first place, I have read in various places that, before hitting it big as an actress, Lea Thompson did a lot of different odd jobs. One that happens to come to mind is that of a waitress. In any event, I also read that she was in TV commercials for various things including Burger King. I do not remember any of these ads, but I will trust whoever wrote the articles that they existed. Do any of you guys remember them? I may have seen them, but I did not take note of her at the time. You see, before "Caroline", I had no idea who she was! On top of this, I remember, back in the seventies, Burger King sponcered some sort of radio contest. Being that I was only seven years old at the time, I did not remember too many of the details. All I know is that it was in conjunction with station 77. None one in my family knew anything about that station at the time! At this point, I do not even know if they are still in business! In any case, one of my many fruitless efforts to stimulate some conversation about this fine series was to start a thread called "Here Comes the Burgler". I now see that it has seventy-seven views and zero responses. I think that writing about these memories is a good way to commemorate these realities!
