At the store, what do you call the thing you put items in? Carts or baskets?

I have called them both before. I know sometimes it depends on geographic locations. I'm just curious to see what people call them. I have even heard people call them buggies before.

With the wheels it's a shopping cart.
Basket is what you hold in your hand with handles.

I call it a cart. Now if I can actually get a decent one at WM, one that one of the wheels is always skipping, so to where you can hear me all over the store!!
